Company Annual Dinner
The Sonoco Annual Dinner 2025 gathered approximately 600 staff members for a celebratory and fun-filled evening at the Grand Ballroom, Marriott Putrajaya. Designed around a fantasy garden night theme, the event created an immersive and enchanting atmosphere to celebrate achievements, recognise employee contributions, and bring the entire organisation together for an evening of appreciation and entertainment
The objectives of the Sonoco Annual Dinner 2025 were to celebrate the company’s yearly achievements, express appreciation to employees for their dedication and hard work, and provide a memorable and enjoyable night for all staff.
EXECUTIONS
ACE was appointed to manage the event end-to-end, overseeing all aspects from conceptualisation to on-site execution. ACE handled the event concept and theme development, creative direction, program flow, stage design, audio-visual production, and entertainment coordination.
One of the standout elements of the event was the stunning visual presentation, particularly the themed entrance arch, photo wall, and cohesive fantasy garden décor, which brought the overall concept to life. The awards segment was also carefully designed and executed to ensure a seamless and impactful recognition experience for employees.
Planning and Setup
Event planning commenced in early November, allowing sufficient time for detailed preparation and coordination. The planning process was supported by a well-developed working timeline, ensuring smooth progress and eliminating last-minute challenges.
ACE conducted full rehearsals, soundchecks, and emcee briefings to ensure all parties were aligned prior to the event. Comprehensive contingency planning was also in place, enabling the team to maintain full control of the event flow and execution.
Program Management
A professional emcee hosted the event, supported by a detailed event rundown, cue cards, and on-site stage management by ACE. Key program segments included opening remarks by the Vice President and General Manager of the GPP Division APAC, followed by a management address by the Managing Director of RPC Asia & Africa, both accompanied by a Nepalese translator.
The program also featured a Lou Sang session, awards and long-service recognition, interactive games, lucky draws, and live performances. Through precise manpower allocation, morning rehearsals, and strong on-site coordination, ACE ensured smooth transitions and consistent program flow throughout the evening.
Technical Support
ACE provided comprehensive technical support, including a wide on-stage LED screen, professional sound and lighting systems, wireless microphone setup, and AV playback. Special effects such as confetti, video montages, countdown sequences, and dynamic lighting effects were incorporated to elevate the event experience.
All technical vendors were managed directly by ACE, ensuring seamless integration and high production quality.
Networking Dinner
The annual dinner was presented in a banquet-style setting, allowing guests to enjoy the evening in a relaxed and celebratory environment. Entertainment elements such as performances, table games, and lucky draws were seamlessly integrated into the dinner program, encouraging interaction and maintaining high energy throughout the night.
