ABOUT THE EVENT
The IHG SEAK Showcase Korea was an exhibition and networking event held at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, bringing together 250 hoteliers, clients, and industry partners. The event aimed to showcase IHG's portfolio, facilitate meaningful business connections, and create a premium brand experience.
As the first of three country showcases (followed by Singapore and Malaysia), the Korea event set the standard for consistency and quality. Strong venue coordination, a well structured agenda, and digital tools ensured a seamless experience for all 250 attendees.
EXECUTIONS
Planning & Setup
The use of a master deck enabled alignment across all three countries, with Korea being the first execution. Early expectation setting and regular alignment calls helped streamline workflow and reduce back and forth communication. Pre setup planning was generally effective, and strong venue coordination supported setup efficiency including responsive hotel teams and flexible layout adjustments at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.
Program Management
The event agenda was well structured, balancing stage sessions, lucky draw, and networking effectively. A digital lucky draw system improved transparency and reduced redraw issues. Pre planned presenter flow ensured smooth stage transitions and readiness. Presentation slides were clear and supported effective emcee delivery throughout the event.
Technical Support
AV and content management were smooth with timely delivery of slides and assets. Use of digital tools including Cvent app and Digital Passport improved efficiency in registration and data tracking. Quick technical troubleshooting was provided by the venue team, with power issues resolved promptly. Lighting enhancements improved visibility and impact of key setups including photowall and panels.
Networking & Dinner
Event layout and agenda allowed strong networking opportunities between clients and hoteliers. Additional elements like Digital Passport QR codes enhanced interaction and participation among the 250 guests.
