CGS-CIMB MALAYSIA VIRTUAL INVESTOR CORPORATE DAY

CGS-CIMB Malaysia Virtual Investor Corporate Day was themed “Beneficiaries of Malaysia’s Recovery from Covid-19”. The virtual conference was conducted in two-panel sessions, covering the two constructive topics. CGS-CIMB Malaysia had invited Ms Michelle Chia, Head of Economics, Malaysia and Mr Lee Heng Guie, Executive Directors of SERC to share the first session – “Recovering Optimism: Realistic vs Hopeful”. Mr Ibrahim Sani, Lead Business Editor, Astro Awani and Dr Khor Swee Khang, Independent Consultant, Healthy Systems and Policies, Consultant in Healthy Policies, and Malaysian Health and Coalition were invited to master the second session, mainly discussing “Current Challenges and Future Outlook for Malaysia Public Healthy Post Covid-19”. 

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

1. The two panel discussions fall on the primary agenda for CGS-CIMB Malaysia Virtual Investor Corporate Day. The online content sharings were combined with the Q&A sessions allowed the participants to address their questions immediately. The speakers could have the networking experience by answering those questions received in real-time. This feature was especially helpful for CGS-CIMB Malaysia to boost the event engagement. One thing the a.c.e team would like to highlight is that the panel discussions were available on-demand for the participants to recap at a later time. 

2. The virtual conference was incorporated with the contact list and live chat features. With a few experiences organizing virtual events such as CGS-CIMB 13th Annual Malaysia Virtual Corporate Day, CGS-CIMB Malaysia specified these functions to be incorporated in the virtual platform. The participants could search the profiles of other participants and create new connections.

3. All participants were rewarded for attendance with the exclusive CPE points. They were required to fill up the smart popup pre-assessment and post-assessment forms that could simply activate through a back-end setup.

RESULTS

The virtual conference attracted more than 500 registrations and attendance. CGS-CIMB Malaysia was able to evaluate the event metrics through a.c.e post-event report. They were pleased with the objectives met and the positive feedback received. The a.c.e virtual event service was again impressed CGS-CIMB Malaysia. Overall, all the efforts were paid off with the event’s smoothness.
